Sunday 6 March
A couple from today's journey to kick off with:- "Reverse into naturalism" (trans. get back to nature)
- "Every apartment flies!" with a picture of an aeroplane taking off out of an apartment
- "Do not touch my dog. You know your hand infected."
From my local supermarket - on a packet of chicken fillets sitting in the fridge:
"Our chicken is happy". Surely this is a problem of verb tense - I think they mean "Our chicken was happy".
In a shopping centre lift:
"We apologise for inconvenience. We're necessary to open in early."
Apologies for the blurry photo. The section on this menu is headed, "Casually". From the casually selection, you can have "Boiled scallop", "Jim casually striped bass", "Jim boiled sea" or "Jim boiled jellyfish".
Anyone care to translate?
This is good advice for anyone walking the streets of Bangkok, wherever you are.
